OUT OF BOUNDS AREAS
Beyond all boundary fences. Internal out of bounds - white pegs to the left of the 13th and 18th fairways, to the right of the 16th fairway, marked areas around the clubhouse, car park, practice greens and nets, pump shed and garden on the 11th fairway.

 

IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS
Includes power pylons, low internal fences on the 9th,12th and 14th holes, greenkeeper’s sheds, sand sheds by the 1st and 10th tees, wooden shelters at 3rd, 9th and 10th holes, distance markers, pathways including run-offs, all wooden edges surrounding gardens and trees. Rule 16.1. For immovable obstructions close to putting greens, Model Local rule F-5 is in effect.

 

POWER LINES
If it is known or virtually certain that a player’s ball hit a power line, the stroke does not count. The player MUST play a ball without penalty from where the previous stroke was played. Rule 14.6.

 

LOST BALL / OUT OF BOUNDS
The model rule for alternative to Stroke and distance for Lost Ball or Ball Out of Bounds is in effect. For 2 penalty strokes, players may take relief by dropping in a relief area. (Rule 14.3 and MLR E-5).

 

GARDENS
Any ball that has entered a designated garden area is deemed to be in a NO PLAY Zone and MUST be dropped at the nearest point of relief not near the hole, with the player taking free relief. (Rule 16.1). If the ball can not be found, for 2 penalty strokes, players may take relief by dropping in a relief area. (MLR E-5).
